Part-Time FOH Support

DITONDO showcases authentic, seasonally driven Italian cuisine prepared with an impeccable attention to detail in both ingredients and presentation.

Opened in 1904 by Sebastiano Di Tondo and taken over by Rita Di Tondo in 2019, one of his great-granddaughters, and her husband Chef Fabio Consonni. Both Rita and Fabio have renovated, modernized the kitchen and restored the historical character of the building and the facilities. DITONDO continues to innovate and now offers a traditional European Italian dining experience to Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities of the FOH Support staff include:

• Provide a high standard of hospitality
• Have a sense of urgency
• Assist FOH team with managing the guest experience
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members
• Develop basic knowledgeable of the restaurant’s food and beverage offerings
• Support FOH team in providing professional food and beverage service
• Execute consistent table maintenance
• Maintain knowledge of proper use of an espresso machine and assisting FOH staff with coffee service
• Complete pre-service and post-service duties
• Assist with polishing silverware, tableware, & glassware throughout service
• Assist servers with refilling water glasses and replenishing empty water bottles
• Assist servers and FOH Manager with running food
• Assist servers in the clearing & resetting of tables
• Assist servers with packaging guests leftovers and labeling

Qualified individuals should possess a strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness.
