Full job description Book buyer/bookseller The Read It & Eat Bookshop in Buffalo, NY seeks a part-time bookseller with strong experience and interest in book buying/receiving to concurrently serve as our book buyer. A strong candidate for the position will be the main person responsible for the maintenance of the store’s inventory, and will also perform floor management, training, and bookselling duties as necessary. This position requires strong organization skills, excellent written and oral communication, a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize and navigate nuanced responsibilities. We are specifically a culinary bookstore so passion, knowledge, and interest in the culinary world is a huge plus. Schedule: Part-time, in-person 10-15 hours a week, with the potential to grow to full-time as the business grows. Some evenings and weekends required.
